Quinn and I first met when she was in sixth grade. Since then I've photographed her a couple of times at my request. I also photographed her for her senior pictures. She brings such an easy-going attitude and designer-like flair to every session.
In a year she'll complete her coursework at Iowa State University with a major in Advertising and a minor in Event Management. All of that in only three years! Just another example of how Quinn has always been responsible, innovative and motivated.
So what better time than now for her to have a headshot session as she prepares for her future employment!
We went with a Signature headshot session. Within the context of Experience It Photography, a "Signature" headshot session means it includes not just head/shoulder images, but also may include 3/4 length (think top-of-head to mid-thigh or mid-calf). It may also include some furniture props.
You'll see that we also created a couple of photos that include head-to-toe. Full-length images aren't promised with a Signature session, but it's fun when they just happen to present themselves!
To have options for different purposes, we created additional looks. Also, with the images that have relatively solid-colored backgrounds, the background can always be expanded to accommodate adding text when needed (e.g., brochures and advertising).
The term "headshot" varies from photographer to photographer and from client to client. Traditionally it meant just head/shoulders. Now it oftentimes has an expanded meaning. Whether you book a headshot session with EIP or another photographer, be sure to know upfront what type(s) of images and experience it will entail.
EIP offers "Basic" headshot sessions (short sessions, head/shoulders), Signature headshot sessions (longer sessions, may include head-to-calf and furniture), and Branding sessions (duration and types of images depend on your brand and what you want to showcase).
As of the writing of this post, thorough pricing and session availability of sessions is not posted on the Experience It Photography web site. My intent is to schedule days with multiple headshot sessions each of the days. I've yet to solidify that schedule. In the meantime, if you have questions about sessions and are contemplating booking, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. I'll just throw this out there ... for you small business employers (clinics, offices, retail, etc.) looking for a unique way to gift to your staff/employees at some point, wouldn't this be a win-win idea for you and them?!!!!!
