Man, were we lucky! The forecast shifted on us, so we scrambled to start about an hour earlier than planned. We photographed right after the early rain let up and finished right before the next forecasted round of rain. But instead of a second round of rain, the bright sun came out ... potentially creating harsh shadows and making eyes squint. We were thankful to already be finished outdoors and headed into the oh-so-colorful greenhouse for one-year-old pictures. We adults made bird (and cat) noises, jumped around and did who-knows-what-else to keep her attention!
